United Transformation Movement (UTM) followers have begged the party's leader, Dr Saulosi Klaus Chilima to withdraw from the Tonse Alliance stressing that UTM is being sidelined.
The development comes as the frustrated UTM followers are disappointed by President Lazarus Chakwera's decision that removed delegate powers that the vice president and UTM's leader Chilama had.
President Chakwera removed Chilima's delegate powers following the Anti-Corruption Bureau's Zuneth Sattar's corruption case that has Chilima's name.
The frustrated UTM followers said this during the political rally that UTM held in Blantyre-Nyambadwe.
Felix Njawala who is a senior party member said in his speech that youths that voted for Tonse Alliance are currently bemoaning as they are not benefiting from the National Economic Empowerment Fund-NEEF loans that was budget to help the youths as unemployment rates are skyrocketing.
