DPP SHOWS COMEBACK POTENTIAL

The Afrobarometer results shows that Democratic Progressive Party-DPP would win election if were to be held today as the results shows a lot of people would vote for it.

The survey was conducted in February where a lot of Malawi responded that they would vote back DPP into power.

"40. 7%  of men would for DPP while 25.7% would vote for MCP" the statistics shows. On the other hand, 41.7%  of women would also vote for DPP while MCP gets 27.3%.

The results came just right after the local government elections showed that UTM and other parties do not stand a chance against DPP as it managed to gain a lot of votes comparing to UTM despite both parties failing to secure a seat.

This Afrobarometer results means that DPP has a potential of winning the national elections scheduled to happen in 2025 and it will have a lot of votes from both men and women.
