ODINGA CHALLENGES ELECTIONS IN COURT

Raila Odinga who lost to William Ruto has challenged the election results to be rigged by filling a petition to the Kenya's Supreme Court.
United Democratic Alliance's leader William Ruto won the Kenya's presidential elections with 50.49% beating Raila Odinga who had 48.85% of votes.

Upon Kenya's Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) announcing the election results, Odinga bursted out claiming that the election were fouled.

"We have a strong petition and we're hopeful that it will go through," said Odinga's lawyer Daninzo.

This means The Supreme Court has 14 days to hear Odinga's case and deliver a verdict.

According to Kenya's constitution laws, If the seven judges rule in favor of Odinga, they could order a recount of votes, a fresh election, or declare him president.
