KENYA'S SUPREME COURT TO HOLD ELECTIONS PRE-TRIAL

Just fews days Raila Odinga who lost to William Ruto challenged the election results to be rigged by filling a petition, the Kenya's Supreme Court will no hold pre-trial conference.

 

Odinga who came second in Kenya's presidential election with 48.85% votes maintaining a second position with Raila Odinga having 50.49% , had gone to court to challenge the result, describing it as "fraudulent". 

The Kenyan court has now started a pre-trial conference where among other things the statements raised by the plaintiff, Odinga that states that the electoral commission chairman Wafula Chebukati violated the law by declaring Mr Ruto the winner of the election.

   
 Odinga rejected the election results right after Chebukati made the announcement. He emphasized that what Chebukati did was unlawful hence the election were "fraudulent". 

William Ruto was declared as Kenya’s president-elect with 7.1m votes against Raila Odinga’s who had 6.9m votes. 


The Judiciary Chief Registrar Anne Amadi confirmed on Monday about the pre-trial conference and encouraged people to follow the trial in their respective homes.

  1. I hope Raila Odinga instincts are true or he better wait for the next elections. Otherwise the pre_trial ain't necessary
