A week has now passed after the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) made an announcement to open investigation how on United Transformation Movement (UTM) managed to procure 44 vehicles for the party but nothing has been done by the ACB.
ACB received a complaint from Gosten Chinseu a month ago requesting them to investigate the source of funding for UTM's procured vehicles.
UTM purchased 44 vehicles worth 3 billion Malawi Kwacha for the party that were registered under the name of Khwesi Msusa who happened to be Saulos Chalima's close friend.
The ACB made an announcement to open an investigation to find the source of funding that the party used to purchase the said vehicles. So far, the ACB has not made any arrests or communication regarding the investigation.
The vice president of Malawi Dr Saulosi Klaus Chalima is also on the ACB's list of people that benefited from Zuneth Sattar.
